I am now going to start my branding for this project, this consists of looking for a suitable logo and wordmark that would make sense with the idea that i am working towards.

I started off by brainstorming some ideas and words that affiliate with heating, temperature and anything else along those lines.

I tried to join a-lot of the ideas that i had together, through doing that i definitely found some good connections in them all, but the one that stood out to me without even being matched with anything else was the word Therma.

With it being Inspired by the thermal comfort and smart heating that is involved in the product. I think that it is quite a nice and slick name to use for this project.

Wordmark Design

I am going to spend some time sketching out some ideas for the word mark itself, weather that includes some sort of logo, or just the name itself.

Here is what i have came up with,

I would say that there is definitely a-lot of potential with these, both with and without a form of logo in them and also without, i will take this further into figma and see what i can get done in there.

Here are some of the ideas i came up with, i tried out a few different fonts and also font weights on each of them, also by having some without any form of icons and some with.

The one that i was most happy with was the one in the top left, i used a type ace called ‘Alexandra’ and i combined it with a simple icon which signifies air which can relate to warm air through heating.

Here is an expanded version of the wordmark i have chosen for this project, i also created some quick app icons that could go with the project aswell.
