At this part of the project i need to define what the actual problem is so that i am able to figure out what it is that i need to spend more time researching on and then to be coming up with the solution to what i will be eventually designing towards the end of the project.
With the research that i had done at the start i had always felt like heading towards this direction was a good idea for me, This was due to me hearing about the heavy work load that has been placed on students that for example might work a-lot of hours in a part time job and it then being difficult to find time to study and attend classes at the same time.
From learning lots of different strategies in class i was able to lay out this stage in a different manor which i thought was very helpful, by having a separate problem and user statement section.

Problem - Students find it difficult to keep on track with all of their responsibilities. Which includes project deadlines and also a social side.

User Statement - As a University Student i need a way to be able to organise my University priorities and social life, So that i have more time to focus on my studies and achieve better grades.

From the help of IDEOS design kit I used the ‘How Might We’ Phrased question that they also use, to try and further help define the problem that i am looking at.

The key outcome of this project is for me to provide university students with a digital platform that helps them stay organised and manage their coursework and projects effectively.
I would say that i am heading in the right direction with this as i think that it is definitely a strong idea that would for sure help out a lot of students that are struggling with the likes of time management and all of the work load throughout their University course.
Quite a big part of this process is to include and make some user personas, because they can help me try and grasp what some users want to be using this service for and what i can do to try and make that happen.
