Now that i have completed my branding i will now move on to working on the first stages of the development for the project, i will start off by creating some simple sketches to develop the overall layout for the app.
Then after i am comfortable with what i have i will then move on to bringing it into figma and starting to create some lo-fi wireframes.
Here are the first few screens that i have sketched,
I was mainly focusing on getting the main structure for the 3 leading screens, because they are the ones that the most amount of time will be spent. I always had a good idea with what i wanted to do with the layout throughout the app as i wanted to make it as easy to navigate as possible because some of the users will be using it for something different to the other.
I then moved on to making some lo-fi wireframes to help improve the layout i wanted, to help me have a better idea as to what the actual app will look like, Here are some of the initial wireframes i made,
Home Screen & Planner
I kept the same visual layout as i did with the sketches, i was already quite pleased with how they looked and the overall presentation of them, i want to keep the screens as easy to use as possible and not to cluttered with unnecessary buttons and text.
Profile and Tasks
The next two screens i built up was for the profile screen which will be there to allow you edit any details and to explore more about the actual app, the task screen is there for you to add in any work that is needed doing or checked off.
As i have made some good progress and have a proper idea as to what direction i want this app to go i will now properly develop the screens which my previously chosen colours and text and all of the appropriate content for the app.
