As i have completed all of the other sections that are necessary for a good outcome to this project, like the research, personas, and branding. Now is a good time for me to start sketching out some ideas that i might have for this project.

Below are the first three screens that i have drawn, they consist of the home screen, your schedule and energy saving.

They are very basic sketches at the moment that is because i am more trying to get a better idea for the layout rather than just cramming every bit of information in poor places.

I will continue to work on with the sketches and the remainder of the screens to perfect the structure for this product.

I brought the majority of the same ideas that i had initially thought of and re-defined them into some new and better sketches that i feel will work better,

Im now going to take these ideas into figma and try to form some lo-fi designed wireframes to further define the approach in which i am taking with the overall layout and structure of the product.

Wire-framing

Now that i am happy with the results of the sketches that i had done, i will now begin to work further on them but only this time i will be doing it digitally, i will start by doing some lo-fi work which doesn’t include any colour or real text just the overall layout of the app,

Home Screen

Using the sketches, i decided to try out both of the home screen ideas that i had came up. With the only difference being the section in the middle where i was puzzled on whether or not i should go with the rectangle buttons or the circles, i eventually decided i would stick with the rectangles as i though it looked a bit more professional and cleaner and it would also help eliminate some of the white space in and around the rest of the screen.

Energy Screens

The energy screens are near identical because i was already happy with the ideas that i had came up with, the main idea is to have a graph in the bigger rectangle which is there to show the user the usage of the heating energy in the home, and the other two boxes are there to give some tips as to how the energy can be saved to help be more efficient, i was more leaning towards using the second screen so the user instantly has the graph at the top of the screen which would be more helpful.
