Content design is the practice of planning, creating, and structuring content in a way that meets the needs of users. Content design focuses on understanding user needs and delivering content that serves those needs, it is also for making information easy to find and understand. Content design makes sure that content is not only engaging but with that being useful, clear, and accessible.
What is Push & Pull Content ?
Push and Pull content are terms that are often heard and used in marketing and content strategy, the terms are used to describe how different kinds of information is delivered and consumed by an audience. Push content is generally more promotional, while pull content tends to be more informative and educational.
Push
Push is content that is primarily delivered to an audience without the audience actually finding it out. The idea is to push content towards people to grasp their attention. You might find some examples of push content in, TV and radio ads, Social media ads, Notifications from apps.
Some good benefits from the push content is that it can reach a vast audience very quickly, and it is good for brand awareness and promotions.
Pull
Pull content is content that users actively look out for or find when they're looking for information or solutions to their problems. It's designed to attract people naturally when they are ready to engage with it. Examples of pull content would be in, Social media, Case studies, Blog posts.
Some Benefits from pull content is that it is often more engaging, as users are actively looking for it and that it builds a relationship with the audience based on trust and interest.
In my first week back i was able to learn what the key difference is in the push & pull content, i never really got what that actually meant whenever it had been mentioned in the past but it is good now that i do so i can now be able to feature it in some future work correctly.
