For the first week in semester two, we were introduced to our new module, Exploring Identities.
An identity really just represents itself as a brand, so i am going to spend time by looking into what makes a brand and certain things about brands.
What is a Brand?
A brand is a distinctive symbol, name, design, or other feature that makes a product, service, or company. It goes further beyond elements like logos and colours, a brand encompasses the overall overlook and reputation that a business creates in the minds of its customers and the public. The building of a successful brand involves consistent messaging and creating positive associations with the brand in the minds of consumers. A strong brand can contribute to customer loyalty, an increased market share, and long-term business success.
Brand Values
The brand values are the core principles and beliefs that guide the behaviour, actions, and decisions of a company. These values basically are what form the foundation of a brand's identity and they are meant to reflect the organisation's culture and priorities. Brand values help define the character of a brand and influence how it interacts with customers, employees, and the broader outlook of the community.

Establishing and promoting a brands values is not only important for internal cohesion but also for building trust and credibility with customers and clients. When a brand consistently demonstrates its values throughout actions and communication, it can provide a stronger connection with its audience and then differentiate itself in the marketplace, Thats why customers often choose brands that align with their own values and beliefs
