In Week 4 i will have to present a pitch for my dissertation idea to my lecturers and peers, as-well as a critical bibliography.
In simple terms a dissertation is a writing document with information based off of researching from a certain topic/area that the person has chosen to speak about.
Key sections that break up the dissertation are;
Some key topics that are worth looking into for my dissertation would be the likes of, Technology in education, Digital Ethics, Inclusive Design, Social Media and Mental Healthcare, Technology in Healthcare, UX of Healthcare, Digital Sustainability, Ai in Digital Design, Interaction Design and Smart Cities
A Research proposal pretty much is a short plan that explains what you want to research, why the topic is important, and how you should plan to carry out the research. It usually includes your research question or title, research methods, and what you hope to find out from the project.
A critical bibliography is a list of sources that have been used for your research, along with a short explanation of what each source says, and whether I think it is reliable. It shows that you have not only found information but also thought about and judged the sources before using them in your project.
One of the research questions that i came up with in class today was - ‘Why is modern day UI/UX design work being downplayed through the over use of Ai in design?’
I then worked to re-word the question so it made a bit more sense,
