Week 2 was mainly spent perfecting my CV, i was given some tips on what to fix and where pretty much told the areas that worked well, the only thing that i needed to fix was the white space in between some of the some of the sections and to actually add in two references instead of it saying ‘references are available upon request’.
After i had fixed the CV i started to properly code my portfolio website, i have always been pretty comfortable with my html and css however i still used a portfolio styled template on VS Code. I have made some pretty good progress with it so far and i think if i spend enough time on it i could have it done it the next week or so which is really good timing because it is getting to the stage where a-lot of companies will be looking for placement roles next year and if i have it all ready now i could be in with a good chance of being considered.
I enjoyed the class this week because i got to spend a good amount of time on these two very important projects of the semester, having these done well and in good time could probably decide on wether or not i actually get a placement spot somewhere.
