This weeks class was solely focused on AI and also how it can be used in design.
The Meta Quest lets you explore different worlds without leaving homes. It’s mostly used for gaming, but you can also go to things likes virtual concerts, and be able to control things with just your hands.
AI plays a big role in improving the Meta Quest, making it smarter. It improves hand and voice controls, allowing users to interact without controllers. AI also improves virtual environments, making worlds look far better and clearer and feel more realistic.
I spent some time looking at how AI can be used in storytelling and content creation.
AI is transforming the storytelling and content creation process by making it faster and more interactive. It helps to create written stories, scripts, and dialogue, which help writers with ideas and structure. AI can also create realistic images and videos bringing stories to life with minimal effort.
The main ownership of AI-generated content can be a bit a bit difficult to work out because it depends on different factors, including the legal framework in a given country and the terms of use of the AI tool that was used to make the content.

The AI Tool Provider - Using an AI platform like ChatGPT or other content generators, the provider may keep certain rights over the generated content.
The User – if you put in your own ideas to the AI, you should be able to still have some ownership of the content.
