In this weeks lecture we looked into the detailed industry of illustration, similar to what we looked at in week 2 we looked at lots of different and famous illustrators and the work that they have created. some of the illustrators where famous for movie/tv illustrations and others through illustrating in the likes of books and in general on paper.
Sarah Fanelli is a very famous British artist and illustrator who is well known for her distinctive and imaginative work. She has illustrated numerous books and has gained recognition for her creativity and unique style. In the past she has completed work for the likes of the New York Times, the Independent and the New Scientist, Also some of her main clients include The Royal Mail, BBC Worldwide, and Tate.
Oliver Jeffers is from From Northern Ireland and is another famous illustrator, artist, and writer. He is best known for his children's books, which he both writes and illustrates. Some of his most widely known work would be "How to Catch a Star," "Lost and Found," "The Incredible Book Eating Boy," and "Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth." His books often feature charming illustrations and heartwarming stories that resonate with both children and adults. In addition to his work in children's literature, he has also exhibited his art in galleries around the world.
