In todays class we spent time looking into how all of the emerging technologies will have an impact on the world and it is helping socially.

New smart tools like AI and entertainment gadgets are changing how we live and do everyday things. For example, voice assistants like Alexa can control things in a smart home. We can unlock our phones with our faces or get help typing from AI that guesses what we want to say. Apps like TikTok uses AI to show us content we are more likely to enjoy, these sew technologies also helps doctors find health problems faster, which improves care for people. It also affects how we travel, use money, shop, learn, and have fun.
Data privacy and security are about keeping your personal information safe and making sure only the right people can see or use it. With future technology like AI and smart devices even more personal data is being collected. Things like where you go, what you watch, or even your health.
As all the new technology gets more evolved, the risk of data being stolen, or shared without permission is very high. That’s why strong security is important like encrypted data, passwords, and the control over what’s the user wants shared.
I thought that these topics that were covered are very important, especially the data privacy and security part, as like i mentioned with all of the new emerging technology will be needing more of your personal data, and you have to make the decision as to whether you want some of your private matters shared.
