In todays class had a lecture about UX writing. We looked into lots of different things like buttons and messages that might pop up for a user. This part of UX doesn’t get as much attention as anything else would but it is still important to enhance user experience.

Experience

Experience in UX writing ensures that users can easily understand and navigate through an app or website. It involves simplifying language and providing clear instructions or feedback to prevent confusion. An example would be when users make an error, the message should be helpful and guide them to correct it rather than simply stating that something is wrong.

Engagement

Engagement in UX writing takes this further in aiming to make the interaction not only functional but also more enjoyable for the user. It involves creating copy that feels natural and conversational, making users feel like they’re interacting with a human rather than a machine. The tone could range from friendly and casual to professional but also depending on the context and it could include elements like humour to improve the overall experience.
