Development Process

When working on projects things are a bit different from how they are done at university. In a job setting, they will usually work under a project manager, whose role is to keep everything on schedule. A business analyst focuses on meeting the goals of the business, while we as UX designers focus on the people using the product, making sure it's designed around their needs.

Agile Methodolgy

Agile Methodology is a way of developing software that focuses on working in small, flexible steps with lots of teamwork. Instead of building everything all at once, It breaks the work into short cycles called sprints, usually lasting 10 days to 2 weeks. Each sprint focuses on completing a specific part of the project, called a user story, and by the end, there should be something ready to test. This method helps teams get a basic version of the product called an ‘MVP’ out quickly so it can be improved through feedback.
