After i had gathered all of my research on Point, Line, Plane, golden ratio, rule of thirds, Typography and gestalt images in the first three weeks of class,
Week 01 - Intro to Interaction Design Fundamentals
I began to brainstorm some ideas and try get some good inspiration for this project by drawing out a spider diagram and trying to bring together any ideas i might have.
I thought that i had actually came up with some interesting ideas for all three of them, some of the personal favourite's that i came up with was, doing a football chart for goals scored and conceded, this could be done by multiplying points. Another one was the roman numerals of my date of birth for the part of the lines. For the planes i could not manage to grasp any breathtaking ideas but i think trying to base my design off the view from one of the windows in my house could be quite good, i am still quite undecided for the planes section.
i began to sketch out the football idea i had for the point one, so i researched how many goals Liverpool had scored during their campaign last season.
I came up with three different types of designs for this particular Sketch,
For the first one i simply just drew them all in the corners opposite from each other with that having i a multiplied effect, the second one i tried to make them symmetrical but it didn’t really work out due to there being different amounts of goals, and finally for the third i tried to do them in the line of the golden ratio with the line of it dividing the 2, i actually quite liked how that one worked out and i am keen to see what it would work out like in figma.
I also tried to do my date of birth out of the points but i did not feel like it was going to get anywhere, and i wasn’t really a fan of how it turned out anyway, here is what it looked like,
i think it would end up looking a bit better if i tried it with the roman numerals with the lines. After that i pretty much justs started sketching out ideas for all point, line and plane by going off of the techniques of Reflect, Multiply, Disperse, Proximity, Scale, Dominance for the points and the techniques of rhythm, frequency, symmetry or asymmetry for the lines**.**
